Will Steinberger is a multidisciplinary director and producer. His work has been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, American Theatre Magazine, Philadelphia Inquirer, The Forward, WHYY, Philadelphia Weekly, and Philadelphia Magazine.

Will works across the arts, entertainment, education, and technology. He has expertise leading organizations and complex teams as well as translating live events and the performing arts into digital and interactive media. Will’s experience includes creating content for general, teen, and children’s audiences. He works at both major institutions and on a freelance basis on projects across old, new, and emerging media.

Will has worked as a director and producer at theaters including The Public, Second Stage, The Atlantic, New York Theatre Workshop, New York Stage and Film, Clubbed Thumb, New Dramatists, the Drama League, Town Hall, The Play Company, 59E59, Berkshire Theatre Group, InterAct, the Civilians, Chautauqua Theatre Company, Primary Stages, Philadelphia Theatre Company, the Wilma, Hartford Stage, JACK, The Barrow Group, and Powerhouse Theater.

Will has been honored with a Drama League Award nomination, as a finalist for the National Directors Fellowship, is a former Artist in Residence at New York Stage and Film, and is a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab. He has been a guest artist or speaker at the Yale School of Drama, Brown University MFA Program, Hunter College MFA Program, University of Texas - Austin MFA Program, Syracuse University, Vassar College, Neumann University, and other universities.

Will has produced digital content for The Jimmy Awards, All For One, New Light, The Tank, Blue School, Packer Collegiate, Garden School, the Jewish Plays Project, NYCITFF, and other organizations. He has created interactive apps for New Light, The Tank, Pocket Universe, InVersion, and FringeArts.

Will is proud of collaborations with writers including Johnny G. Lloyd, Gina Femia, Charles Gershman, Cristina Luzárraga, Catherine Weingarten, Gina Stevensen, Sandra A.
